Abakaliki – The most populous Clan in Ebonyi State, Ezza Nation, has insisted that it would not take any slot lower than the senatorial position of Ebonyi Central, or they should be compensated with another higher position, adding that the adoption of the state governor, Chief David Umahi for second term was borne out equity, fairness and justice.

The clan however noted that it would also be unfair and unjust for them to kick for the senatorial position and also battles to retain the Ezza South/ Ikwo Federal constituency, which they currently and therefore resolved that the position should be ceded to Ikwo people.

The people assured Governor Umahi of their total support, stating that his re-election would be the best decision to them to complete his good works and development commitments.

The group said that the governor’s second term had become an agenda for all the 260 communities in the state due to his exemplary leadership and development projects in all the communities in the state.

The group further pleaded with the governor to intervene on Eguho Bridge that was abandoned by his predecessor, Martin Elechi, and ensure its completion before it finally
